Hi Cliclasp
Please do put up more pictures of clasps. Share as much of your research on clasps as you want to
Hi
...........
I really like Cliclasp - and as soon as I get a large worthy strand, I'm going for it. The other dilemma though, is that when I do get a larger worthy pearl strand, will I be willing to have the pearl drilled a little more?
........
That picture's really interesting. Where's it from? It looks kind of like the carving's on totem poles in the American northwest and Alaska
Horus if I remember my history courses properly. Was this a clasp? You are very far.. some thousands kilometers away,
search again ...
London's not too bad either I love the Edinburgh summers too (it's fun having the sun set so late) but the Edinburgh winters get me down sometimes, it's hard to get used to the sun setting at 4!Borah in the Burgh,
Edinburgh - lucky you.
What brought you to Edinburgh? Was it pearl related?I spent a year in Endinbugh. Was working just off the royal mile.
Definitely! I had a lot of fun lurking in your other thread in the Pearl History section. As for how they used Horus, I have no idea. I can't quite figure out how they might have used it. It doesn't really look like a clasp. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo has a lot of great pieces, but they don't allow photography inside Is it some kind of brooch? It looks like you like stories .. of pearls, ... of clasps
