First stop at the Couture Show: Etienne Perret with his big beautiful Ceramique pearl rings!

Etienne is a fascinating person. I could talk to him for hours about all manner of subjects. He is one of those rare people with a constantly bubbling well of creativity -- and he?s happy to let you tap into it and share the wealth.
This year Etienne had some very large button pearls of amazing quality. But instead of sitting atop his convex rings, he carved the underside of the pearls so that they became one with the ring. Here is an enormous pearl that you can easily slide in and out of your pocket.

And here is a taller button alongside one of his baby pink Ceramique bands. No one else has that perfect pink. It cries out to wear a peacock Tahitian pearl, doesn't it?

And to put the cherry on top, here is a family photo!
