Dr. Siemionow Pearls on TV

Watching, with fascination, the news of the first face transplant in the United States, the doctor appeared.

Dr. Siemionow, dazzled me with not only her accomplishment, but, also, what appeared to be an AMAZING pearl necklace.

Anyone care to venture what we are looking at???? Sorry it's a fuzzy image. The pearls (on TV) appeared to have a silvery glow...beautiful to my untrained eye.

Wow, they are large...IF they are real, then maybe SSP.

Hmm, rethinking--- they could be 11mm...could be CFWP I suppose.

I think that is the 12.5mm Freshwater pearl necklace she purchased from us last month (Just kidding).

It's more likely a South Sea necklace than faux.

I can't believe she wore a strand to the operating room. There's always a smaller chance of something splatter on it.

Oh My, Oh My!!! Those look pretty amazing! The earrings are not bad either! Her operating room strand looks a bit smaller, and perhaps lt golden in color???

I sold a strand of semi-round (very round looking when worn) 12 - 13.5mmCFW this morning.... they looked exactly like that, although I suspect these are SS's. I was pretty happy with the sale today - these were beautiful pearls, very pink in overtone and with the most amazing lustre. They went to a nice home, at least!
And I think the ones in the OR shot look like champagne - gold SS's...

What great style she has - including wearing pearls in the operating suite. The luster on them does look like SS pearls to my (novice) eye - and the earrings further my take on it. Thanks for sharing everyone!

I saw her on Larry King last night. They looked like SS to me. Very silver and lustrous.

I'm so glad you enjoyed my need to share! They really come alive with any small movement...just yummy pearls. Obviously, she has excellent taste.
