I know occasionally freshwater pearls do come in grey, but I'm just not sure if it's been treated. There are a few pearls with darker hue on the top, and there's just a hint of iridiscence.

This I'm certain is treated. I guess natural merely means they are pearls from a shell.

Wonder how this comes up.

Natural coloured freshwater pearls

Jeremy,

how did You determine they are dyed? The first pic with the grey ones looks very natural to my eyes, even some orient....

The champagne coloured look to be dyed though....

BTW, have You seen my post regarding the Akoya Keshis? So far no answer from You....

Thanks

Yeah, I thought the greys looked natural too. I thought they showed good orient. But like Jerin, maybe the others seemed more likely dyed to me. I would be curious how to tell too.:)

Too dark and too grey. They look like regular, dyed black freshwater. They are not natural color, for sure.
