Dislike of akoyas??

My first real strand of pearls was akoya which I wore almost every day for 15 years. But I bet you have read several of my posts saying that I am not an akoya lover. Do I like them? YES. Do i wear them? YES, YES! My first strand looks a little tired. My second strand was a barogue blue. The third stole my heart..pistachio, glorious round pistachio akoyas. As of last week a strand of the TDF white baroques. I had to have these. It was the baroque shape that caught my interest because round white pearls are just round white pearls to me.
