It is a stunning piece. Is it still worn or does it just sit in the safe?

I think it would be amazing worn as a pendant (there are pin to pendant converters that slide on and off the pin stem) or on a velvet ribbon.

It is still worn by my mother when the occasion arises but not often.

I have just had confirmation that the drop pearl on the brooch is a natural grey saltwater pearl, don't know if that is a rare type of pear or not?
