Features of a round edison pearl and a near round tahitian after carving.
Very strange nacres, so different to work than white, harder !

Thank you Katbran, i'll have such a talent than Aliexpress will let me... Just I have again a problem, to receive only one big south pacific ocean pearl, instead two ordered... I am a little tired to work under law of this kind of sellers.

Thank you BWeaves ! Sizes of Edison pearl is 13mm, and tahitian 9/11mm, not giant...

I add this white carved SSP.
It's more difficult to obtain so much contrasts than with coloured pearls, but it looks finer as soon as it's shooted on skin ( I have made a speed mounting to do).
Will you, please, give me your views...

Eric, I really love what you do. The nacre has an orient to it after carving. Love.

Well looked! the difficulty, carving pearls, is to keep the most nacre's layers in parallel of the area, even in deep parts. Without that, light can't be refracted by nacre and then, the brightness of the pearl die.

The first Edison I try to carve, and I think it's a full promesses kind of pearl to work. despite the difficulty to guess the real thickness of nacre...
