On second glance, I would not be surprised if they were akoya, but if Bahraini, totally fabois!

I just looked at the Mattar website. They had a multi strand of small pearls, but they were not round at all! Round would be quite the pricey thing.

Tha auction house has shown a remarkable level of responsibility. They have already changed the description in their online catalog from "Bahraini pearls" to " High quality pearls" and they will make the same change on a correction sheet in their printed catalog.
They even emailed me to thank me.

I HAVE A QUEST. Harry Winston has come to me thru a third party looking for
information on a American Natural pearl bought by them in 1986. 150 cts +\~ !
I think the article in the shereveport times. was dated in 1987. I tried to
post picture maybe I'll email. Why do I do this at 10 at night.

I know Bahrain was different with U.A.E but one again i want to remind all of the expert that one of the person from Australia and stay in Sharjah was made the product with the name NATURAL NUCLEUS CULTURED PEARL AND NATURAL NUCLEUS PEARL. we cant see this is cultured or real natural. so that they will broke the market for the oyster pearls in the world if his product will be continue. And for i hear also for this time they are made in tahiti with the Pinna nobilis pearls bead (nucleus),,,! so That we must stop this product and i will give the picture what i got in this trade.

No problem, i spoke to the guy today and over email. He can send to Dubai via courier then and payment made through UAE Exchange under his name - which is like a Westen Union type money fund exchange. I can send you all the details. Air post relatively cheap and robots here as I send lots of products from my work home to Ireland to my mum.
