Can anyone tell me what kind of pearls these are?

These belonged to a family member and was passed down to me. I was told she had them a long while and wore them often, also that she had them restrung at some point. I am not sure what the green stone is either. There is a matching bracelet and necklace set. The only difference is the bracelet has bundles of four pearls between stones and the necklace has one pearl between. They have been stored away for a while and I am not sure if I should clean them or just leave them alone. A friend told me I needed to take them off the wire, is that correct?

I took the photo of the necklace indoors and the picture of the bracelet outside. I wasn’t sure which way was the best for lighting to see the true color of them.

The pearls look like dyed cultured freshwater pearls from China.
I don't see a need for cleaning or restringing. Beading wire is very strong.
As to the green stone, maybe aventurine?
