Can anyone tell me about my pearls?

Wow, thank you so much, everyone! I had no idea there was another Octavia, I've been using this name on various forums for years and it seemed pretty uncommon so I didn't expect to meet another one :) I hope I'm not hijacking the name...

I'm so glad to hear that my peals are of a quality to last a long time. I love them, and I've been wearing my new strand almost every day since my fiance gave it to me...he has a way of choosing things that I'd never buy myself but are so "me" :) He actually did buy me a matching set of earrings, as well (they're a little smaller, but matched in shape and color).

I really appreciate all the responses, it's so helpful!
 
Octavia is such a lovely name and since there are so few, she is happy to share! ;)

Your last name wouldn't happen to be Oyster, would it? :D
 
Welcome to the Forum Octavia,

The Pearls look to me to be Rice shaped and what is sometimes referred to as potato shaped. Both Fun to work with and very nice sizes.. as mentioned before chinese freshwaters. Nice quality!
