Bracelet in the making..

At the moment am playing with a few possible variations to it, but here it is - a simple yet elegant bracelet. Sterling silver chain with 5 large round freshwaters either from the size range of about 10.5 to 11 mm or 11.5-12 mm...sharing a mock-up with my pearl family with the 5 pearls from the larger range..

The second and third pictures is show the chain around my wrist and a pearl sitting in position to get a sense of how it would look when worn.

Will share the picture of the completed piece when it is finally done..

I think that pearls you chose are very, very nice and that this design will make you and everybody around you look at them. Make sure that you talk with your hands when you wear it!!.. LoL.....

Lovely pearls and a wearable and comfortable style bracelet! Plus can be adjusted for a custom fit depending on where one hooks the clasp.

I like Tin Cup style bracelets, and may make one for myself eventually, using some of the loose pearls PP was selling back in 2008 in bags of 200g.

Thanks all for your kind comments! The links are about 9mm in length, Kat! The white round FW pearls are mostly 12mm with a couple of them a wee bit smaller at 11.8/9 mm or so.
I am happy to report that the bracelet is now done, and ready to be shipped to the lovely lady in NZ! I almost want to keep it for myself - am so in love with it now..
Anyway, am uploading some pictures of the completed bracelet, some on my wrist/hand, when I was "playing" with it..

I thought they might be close to a cm in length , judging by the size you said the pearls were.. I just love it and the pearls have a lovely luster! And, I have to say that I love the large size! You do lovely work! Definitely think you should make one for yourself!!

Beautiful bracelet Amrita!

I can see the pearls are part drilled so that bails can be attached to them. However, I can't see how the bails are attached to links in the chain as I can't see any joints in the links. Did you solder the links after attaching the pearls? Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much, kind ladies. I had to literally force myself to take that bracelet off and out of my hands and get it shipped!!
DK, the links of the chain had very fine joints which were opened and bails inserted - them joints closed. No soldering involved here.
Yes, Karin - this would be a great bracelet with SS pearls as well, although more expensive, of course....but less than an SSP strand bracelet.
I was also thinking a necklace of this design, maybe with a wee bit smaller pearls, say 10 mm would also look fantastic, wouldn't it?
