Beauty, Happiness and Karma

Starting this thread, I had this rather off-the-beaten-track hunch that high quality pearls come from fairer production for the mollusks and the humans. And that favoring them on the buying side would somehow be doing some good...

What do you think ?

Sure enough, I have some argument for the contrary too! LOL! That's always the case. More about that later.

I know that Care Ehret is really into fair value for the pearls she buys- not only from Douglas, et al, but the Kasumi-like pearls and other specialty pearls she buys direct.

I think pearls have innate good karma and are naturally environmentally positive They really seem like a prize of positive reinforcement for taking care of the water quality.......

Valeria, that is absolutely how I feel. Care Ehret bought some of my pearls and I can assure you that the origin and intergrity of pearls is important to her.
