Hi All,
I have been buying pearls like crazy and I have found some really nice strands. I think I am getting much better at determining if they are real but the type is much harder for me. I think these are freshwater. I really love the colors and the luster? I think that is what you call the shiny-ness. Looking down in the drill holes, I can see the color of the outside of the pearl, does that mean they are dyed? My loupes battery died, so I can't see inside well enough to determine if there is a bead. But they are gritty when rubbed together. The roundness of the pearls is what makes me unsure of what they are. Thank you so much for any assistance you can give me. I have several more to ask about but I have been very ill and as soon as I can get back up on my feet, I will post them. I'm looking forward to restring these when Im a little better because I'm not too sure if I like the clasp. Thanks again ~d
