I did a bit of Googling and found an image on Pinterest of golden colored pearl studs in identical boxes. I followed it to the Instagram account associated and saw lots of pearl images-- some may be GSS, WSS or Tahitian but an awful lot of others were FWP, including dyed FWP-- green colored etc.

My personal opinion is that since we cannot know what the pearls are in your images, it is safer not to buy them as they could be FWP or dyed SSP.

Edited to say that I just now saw your last post. They could be SSP.

But 7.5mm is small for GSS.

Thank you pearl dreams(was supposed to type sweet dreams lol). She doesnt have an instagram account just fb,i came by jewelmer to look for a small gss and they showed me one 8mm i think, but again the price is not really comparable..im trying to familiarize myself with pearls but its quite hard they look so similar in some ways with little to no difference, well atleast for a novice like me.

Heres the one from jewelmer.

Do you care to share the Facebook page of the seller? It might be interesting to see what other pearls she is selling and how she is describing them.

I agree with Katbran, though. If the price is too good to be true....

So she is selling two pairs for 120.00 total.....
Looking at her photos they seem to be quite pale, off round and the colours aren't well matched. 9-10mm So that's 30$ per pearl.

I feel better in one sense that they are so cheap - if you have the cash to lose you could roll the dice and see what shows up. But, personally I'd save up and get the Jewelmer. What's the best price you could negotiate on the nice ones you showed? The photo makes it hard to tell the colour but it looks nice shade. Were they fairly deep in colour?

A price guide is PP has loose round AAA GSS for around 275 each.

Well I see that she does identify freshwater pearls as freshwater in posts near end of November/early December. So that is a good sign.

You might ask her if her GSS are dyed or natural colors.

3x less the price of the jewelmer studs...she does have some small ss with gold/silver plated settings..i just to her o want to see some gss set in 14k-18k gold thats not too big for running errands..

Light colors, surface blemishes, off-round shapes and plated metal findings all add up to a lower price than the Jewelmer studs. I think you just have to decide what qualities you want in a pair of earrings.

I'm disturbed that all the seller's photos are out of focus. You can't really tell what the pearls really look like.

Hi camz im looking for gold south sea pearl and im looking at the same seller that you posted. Question is it worth the price of the pearl? please spare me my money if its not worth a buy. My parents are coming from Philippines and I wanted to ask them to get me a real south sea pearl they have no idea about pearls so Im doing a research myself. I inquired at jewelmer but i dont know if they give me a fair price since its 5x the price if i look up a legit seller like Pearl Paradise etc. I am Filipino and I just want that my pearl comes from the Philippines. So please give me your own opinion. As I read some of the comments they would pass since the pictures are blurry and of course its up to me to decide but I still trust experts with there opinion. Money matters to me but its too difficult to find reliable/ affordable seller online.
