Are these Chinese freshwater pearls?

I saw these on Ebay a few days ago and loved the look of them - they were sold simply as antique pearls and the seller had no idea whatsoever what they are. I received them today and I believe they are Chinese freshwater pearls. What do the experts think?

They look very nice though...what do you plan to do ? Keep them or send them back ?

Hi all, thanks for your replies...I will keep them, since the seller stated nowhere anything about them that wasn't true...he only said they were "antique pearls" and I do believe they are older since they look like they have been restrung. I only paid a very small price for them, what you'd expect to pay for freshwater pearls, so I will hang on to them and maybe restring them or make something else out of them.

I love their shape and they look a bit like mild rosebud pearls.
