Appraiser of Kasumi pearls

Would anyone know of an appraiser that has experience with kasumi pearls? I recently bought some and would like to have them appraised. Carolyn Ehret mentioned that Pattye had an appraisal done for some Kasumi pearls before, would it be possible to get some more information about that? Thanks

Hi Anne,

Welcome, sorry I have been away, just got back in town and am catching up on all the posts! Yes, I have had Kasumi's appraised, also SS and Tahitians, , by Sharon Wakefield of Northwest Gemological Laboratory. She is in Boise, ID. Also mentioned elsewhere on this forum and very reliable. Call her for info, 208 362-3938. I found her most helpful. You might try doing a search with her name and reading a bit more.

Thanks for the information. I did search the forum more carefully after I posted the thread and found reference to Sharon Wakefield. I have contacted her and she has agreed to do the appraisal for my pearls. Thanks again.
