I have some very old, very small antique coral beads (1.5 to 2.5) I'm restringing them with small white freshwater pearls. My question is, there anything to clean coral with, as it is porous? I have not attempted anything because of the risk.
They were also very dry when I got them, and have already achieved a shiny patina just from handling. Bad oily fingers even though I washed well.
And I know these aren't pearls, but I have no where else to ask this. Unless someone can point me an answer I've not found. PM?
Thank you in advance.
