I recently read an interview with this lovely lady, Joyce Carpati on the 40+Style blog. I of course was drawn to those ropes, so striking on her minimalist outfits.
Caitlin, I'm sure you've started many searches for "long ropes"...!

Caitlin, I posted a couple weeks ago my "136" baroque akoya rope." It was owned by a real flapper in the 1920's!! I will post images of all the ways I wear them - ive been busy with work, but I definitely will post soon.

She looks lovely wearing her pearls- I'm not in this lovely womans age group, but I think a long string of pearls looks classic at any age!

Yes. It was my quest for a long rope that first brought me to Pearl Paradise back in 2004. I bought an endless rope about 24", and was invited to join Pearl-Guide. I did and later asked for knowledge of LOOOONG ropes. The concensus at the time was "forgeddaboutit" long ropes were for grandmothers. Well they still are, but the habit has spread to the youngsters too, heh, heh.

Reminds me of the SATC gals in about 10-12 years....
Living Proof did a great ad campaign about aging and hair...and btw, their timeless products are great!
Being comfortable in your own skin is the best beauty product/advice at any age...these women are wonderful examples!
