DAY 63:

I am moved to share this post. A teacher's assistant, the only one who has commented on my pearls, presented me with the earrings in the picture. She made them for me, and used pearls! The earrings happen to match my tin cup nicely and I'm very moved by this thoughtful, personalized, hand-made gift:

DAY 64:

Hanadamas for my last day teaching in 2015. I had my first observation yesterday (I'll have 3 during the year) by my Assistant Principal. I was doing a whole class Read-Aloud followed by singing and finger play. It went well! A great way to end the year:
