A new type of pearl!

Godzilla Pearls - I wish! I still like Provoked Baroques, probably because it rhymes and it's accurate. I can see that neither of these gives one an image of beauty.
To me, Roccoco conjures up old and ornate. It's a beautiful word, but these pearls are the newest thing. Not that I can think of anything better. Cloud Pearls?

I rather like the term "cloud pearl", since it describes the form and relative lightness. Since the technique could be utilized in different species, could work for all - cloud Tahitians, cloud Cortez, etc...

I like cloud pearl~the other suggestions are interesting also. The shape certainly is cloud like. Rococo conjures up a very ornate picture in my mind, too.

Is there a chance the name we favor here on P-G will stick?

"Cloud" sounds light and airy, which makes me think of the souffle pearls, so I would be confused..These are going to be heavier because of solid nucleus.

Ha!!! Yes, they won't be light. It came to me because the concept of "the cloud" in the internet world is fairly new. Certainly, they can't be i-Pearls!
