The bail was created by a jewelry designer in Westport, CT. I visited her shop and saw semiprecious stones set with that style; it looked perfect for the Tahitian, so I asked her to drill my pearl and use the same setting for the bail.

They have $25,000 toward the $80,000 goal.
 
Great charity and the travel bloggers really put out some great incentives to donate.
 
They're at 94% of their goal! They must have had a lot of donations today.

Winners will be notified on Dec. 24 according to a previous posting on the Passports with Purpose website.

As of midnight Dec. 16th they had received $89,159 !!
 
So did anyone here get it? Not me (again), but I did win a walking tour. Now I have to get myself to one of the fabulous cities where they are offered.
 
I didn't. I won a Sony camera, that I didn't know I bid on. I'd like to see the list, because I must have checked the wrong box!!!! In any case, it will come in handy, or make a nice gift and I love supporting this cause. I think it's an amazing way to help our world neighbors.

Sorry to burst your Pearl Dreams (lol), but I was contacted by Passports along with the donor, and then the donor contacted me. I think everyone has been notified, because if you don't claim your prize in 3 days you lose your prize.
 
Hmm, I checked my email folders and I see you are right about that-- the email from PWP preceded the one from Celeste (last year, to clarify!)
