“Confetti” sapphire/soufflé earrings from little h and golden South Sea necklace from Eiko.

Those golden SS are marvellous ... is that bean clasp a pinch clasp with the rod that goes in or a regular fitting? I love the bean shape..I use it all the time .

Yes, this exactly, Katbran. The bean that you pinch and the rod clicks in/out. I think it’s my easiest clasp, though the toggle is very straightforward as well. I think the only thing I don’t love about this clasp is the fact that it’s gold plated; the gold on the underside of the clasp is starting to wear a bit where it rests against my skin. Maybe it’s related to body chemistry. Do you know if they come in solid gold?

Day 310:

I took some fun pictures of loose pearls that eventually need to be set . The strand of pearls is my pistachio akoya rope from little h and the little teddy is a sweet toy from my childhood.

From left to right: 1st two are South Sea pearls, next three are Edisons, next five are Tahitians, last two are Sea of Cortez mabes.
