100 Inch Rope Challenge!!

So sorry everyone.
Pattye, no, you didn't miss mine - I forgot all about posting pics.......
So here they are.
The white pearls are from Amrita - 6.5mm. - 7mm. AA+.
The nuggety pearls are small rosebuds, natural colours, with amazing metalic lustre, and beautiful colourplay.
And there are natural colour pinks either side of the rosebuds.
Length of the rope is a tad over 100".

I like it a lot.... I love breaking the uniformity of round pearls with something "funky". Your choice of what to add to those white pearls is very nice. Love those rosebuds.... I could never find any to buy that did not have lot of flat surfaces ... lucky you to find such a beautiful and so colorful pearls.

Sueki,

That is just superb! Beautiful colors, and I can tell the white pearls have lovely overtones too and great contrast for the rosebud and pink pearls! Such an interesting design also! I hope as other l-o-n-g ropes are made we will continue to add to this thread------------Thank you again, Everyone!!

I am blown away! You really have a wonderful way with color and texture. Thanks for the lovely photos. ;)

I agree with GG! It is incredible! The way it lines up as a 4 strand is absolutely a joy to see! You made it into "Fine Jewelry".

Outstanding design, Sueki. Are the rosebuds from Amrita, too? I love them.

Great design Sueki!
I didn't think I liked rosebud pearls but I am reconsidering them after seeing your necklace. The colors really pop against the white pearls.

Oh, Gosh !
Thanks to you all for your comments.
Blaire, it is I who is blown away by the praise from my heroes.....:)

Raj, I love rosebuds, but these just popped when strung with the whites; and the whites in this rope really seem to come to life when teamed with the colours.

Caitlin - the rosebuds are from DruzyDesign; I've had them a couple of years now, just waiting for inspiration.
Thank you all so much - am off to bed soon with a huge smile on my face. :D

 I've never seen rosebud pearls with such intense colors. At my first glance I thought they were kasumis.

Beautiful :).

That's a great feeling, isn't it, when pearls you love finally, finally! come together in a special way. Glad you posted last, Sueki. Saved the best for last.

Sueki, the necklace is just lovely - you really do create the most elegant jewelry!

Sueki, your rope is absolutely breathtaking! I am in awe...

Thanks to you all - I have a couple more in my head, but not had time to make them up yet......
Oh, and heartfelt thanks to all the posters on here, as I'd never have learned to knot without the help and advice given so generously on this forum .... (not to mention the advice on thread, needles, waxing, clasps, suppliers of findings etc... the list is endless).

Pattye - I have loved this thread - it's a pity it caught me at such a ridiculously busy time... sorry to have not participated. The ropes have been amazing!

I would hate for it to completely end here!

Oh, so would I...
Let's not end it but add to it from time to time....
From just the pics. posted here I'm sure there are more 100" ropes just waiting around the corner...
And yet more from others who didn't post yet but have great ideas up their sleeves....:)
