I agree. The largest golden pearl looks like South Sea, and the smaller ones probably are as well. Hard to tell without a closer view. They are not exactly the same shade, so probably are genuine South Seas rather than dyed FWP.
Hi, starsinthesea. The photos you posted from Etsy are of Freshwater pearls. They are sometimes misnamed by sellers who aren't really familiar with the product. South Sea pearls would never be that cheap and do have a slightly different look to them.
If you already have some classic small white pearls and some Tahitians, South Sea pearls would be a great addition to your collection as they are larger pearls, so give a different look. Whether baroque or round they make a statement.
Great luster! What about making it into a pendant with the top part encircled with a few fine strips of diamond encrusted gold tendrils, enhancing the top section of the pearl but leaving the bottom section to show off the untouched beauty of the pearl?
