I just finished and blocked my shawl. I made a few changes to the original pattern, a different edge and I hooked some 4mm cultured freshwater pearls onto stitches as I went along. It took me a little bit over 58 hours to complete this project. Here are some pictures:

Patty, Just go for it! I started to knit in 2008, and so far I've made 12 lacy shawls. Mostly gifts.
