    Yes, combine strands! There are already variations of color and imo, it appears they will look fine mixed. I prefer some color variation.You will be able to set aside any damaged pearls and still have a long lovely strand.

    These look like freshwater pearls to me. An 8mm clasp would be rather small for a necklace with pearls this size. What is the sellers return policy? Is this a necklace you would wear often and enjoy? Or was the seller indicating it was a terrific bargain?
