Nearly out of water - blimey, bit different here in the UK. We've had our wettest winter for 268 years, apparently, and if it's not rained every single day since October, then I've missed a couple. February this far north is always a bit miserable, feels as if it's been dark and gloomy forever...

They are absolutely lovely, they really glow on your skin, the perfect colour palate for you! I find putting on bracelets is frequently an exercise which would make a sailor blush at the swearing - so I get my dearly beloved to do them instead.

As an aside, is it common outside the UK to use English / British monarchical terms for periods of time? Elizabethan, Queen Anne, Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian?

I really like those Tahitians on leather - I don't think I'd buy it, because of longevity issues with leather, but I think it looks very lovely.

My Granny had a similar line, white ferrero, she said that if you are wearing pearl earrings you are always suitably dressed for any occasion. And she took her own advice!

It's not just pearls for me - my engagement ring, for example, is sapphires and diamonds in platinum, and my wedding ring is platinum, and I love both. But most of the jewellery I wear other than those is all or mostly pearls, because they sing to me.
