you're better off buying a real pearl from a reputable online vendor. That, or just buy yourself a real fresh oyster, shuck it and enjoy with a dash of lemon and salt. ;) this pearl-in-oyster scam just has to stop!

Most people in the Philippines refer to gssps as champagne pearls. I had to bring my mother to a Jewelmer shop to correct that; pearl education can be really expensive. :) :p

Agree with PD, they seems to be cultured akoya with a sterling silver clasp. The pouch looks like a generic jewelry pouch common in HK and Asia in general. Would you have a clearer photo to show the luster? It looks a bit dull and the reflection is fuzzy.

The vendor said that the beads in between the pearls are 18k rose gold, while the tassel is a customized chain, also using 18k rose gold which they meshed to form the design. I hope I made sense, hahaha!

i'd go with PD, keep them. the joy it brings you is more valuable than its market value.
