Fair feedback for this GSS pearl with messy drill hole!

I'm sure you'll be able to get your money back, just be sure this isn't a vendor you wish to purchase from in the future. I only say that because leaving negative feedback or opening a dispute (both of which would be very justifiable) create the possibility that you will be blocked from future...

Multi-Strand (3 or more) Necklace Challenge!

Imanit and GemGeek, your artistry is stunning! I'm so impressed with your design and skills. I guess I have enough pearls now to make a triple strand necklace, but I'm not sure that's what I'd want to use them for. I have a design in mind, but I'll probably try it on a bracelet first. If...

Yes, you can see all the pics now ;) Love the peach pinks with chain. I think peach looks better this way, broken up a bit. Otherwise it's just too much.

    latest pearls...

Oooh, very nice designs julieb! I couldn't see all of them, but I love the use of assemetry and mixed materials. Very nice pearls, I especially like the big drops. I spent my afternoon making a project with African trade beads, sadly no pearls.

    The designer's corner

Hi juliebeth! So far, I've only made one thing. The coral is very pretty, but I don't think it's faux after all. It may not be dyed either. I did an acetate test and couldn't get any color to lift. I placed another in lemon juice and it immediately started bubbling.

    Pearl in dinner

It's a very nice little souvenir - so symmetrical and smooth. I once found a pearl in a raw oyster at a sushi bar but it was misshapen, discolored, and chipped from me chomping down on it. O_o I was extremely thankful not to have damaged my tooth!

So true! You have a great eye. I received the little pink branches and have some white keshi. Here's a quick phone pic:

Just a couple of quick things to share for fun. The knit copper chain is my new favorite necklace, though I can't take credit for making it. I commissioned it from another artist and took my Kamoka pearl pendant off its chainmaille. At first it was just temporary but the mixed metal combination...

How To Market Freshwater pearls from Bangladesh for adoption fundraiser

If they are nice $10 per strand pearls that can actually be knotted and sold at a profit, it doesn't seem that a Chinese origin is a bad thing as long as it's disclosed. However cheap strands are usually chalky, lusterless or heavily blemished. Otherwise, I do think inexpensive pearl sets are a...

Just perfect styling, I particularly love the fox and coral roses! I have a strand of tiny faux pink coral branches on the way and am super excited to combine them with white pearls.

    So pretty, but so...undrilled!

PearlDreams, I've always loved your pearl and bail choice. Just gorgeous! Thank you for posting it again here for me to admire again. I might clarify that I'd never try drilling these specific pearls myself bc I wouldn't want to ruin them with an inexperienced hand. But in the future it seems...

    So pretty, but so...undrilled!

Thank you, Wendy. I found a vendor with drilling service and an ultrasonic drill. But she doesn't use it to drill pearls :( Does anyone know how effective it is to use a flex shaft attached to a pearl thingamajig? Like this one. It would be nice to have a drill, but they're big bucks and it's...

    So pretty, but so...undrilled!

Just a few photos of my new whip cream dollop pairs. These little guys have definitely charmed me, but waaah! they're undrilled. Should I reach out to some local jewelers to ask about pearl drilling or should I be afraid to trust just anyone with them? (I am!) I'm sure there's a risk of damage...

Ramona, Dawn, Ivona, Sheryl - you all are much too creative! Swoon, you've made and designed such beautiful things. I have taken a pause to let my bank acct. catch its breath but with spring here, I feel a surge of energy coming. I have a strand of rainbow irridescent kasumi style pearls on...

    Pretty little conch pearl

I'm nothing more than a spat in this part of the forum, but Barry Bridgestock sometimes has very special pearls and I noticed this pretty little conch pearl in his latest listing. I like the symmetrical shape, although it's a tiny little thing. Not much bigger than a grain of wheat...
