There is no "right" way to do this with "integrity". It's an abominable practice all the way around, no matter how pure your intentions. Is that not obvious from every single educated reply? What's next? Seal clubbing parties?

Haha, no worries! I'm also horrible at selling. I collect a lot of antiques intending to turn them for a profit, but I never get around to it. Namely because I can't take pictures or write copy to save my life!
