I just scored some of the blue baroques from PP! I'm so excited-I missed out on the last special. This is my first strand of baroques and the first akoyas that I have purchased (I have a vintage strand that has been passed down).

I LOVE the gem quality freshwater pendants-especially 3,4, and 5. The ONLY thing keeping me from getting 1 (or 3!) is that I don't wear yellow gold. They'd look sooooo pretty in white gold!

It seems to me that many ladies hold Mikimoto as the be all and end all of pearls. Aren't they just a name brand, like Coach or Tiffany? I know that Mikimoto the man developed the culturing process, but as far as Mikimotos categorically being the "best of the best", they're not necessarily...

never mind-I'm such a blonde! it says what size on the title of the item...duh!:rolleyes: I just ordered a "malia" for myself in 16 inches. Its a great price and the pearl is a nice size.

does anyone know what size of pearl it is? I'm thinking about picking up the turquois one for me, but if the pearl is sized for a young girl, maybe its small?
