As some may remember, I originally bought a 26" strand of pinked hanadama but found it to be too long for my short frame. So I made it into this trio, instead!

Here are my pinked hanadamas which I happen to be wearing today. They do look white on my skin: (If anyone wants to right the photo, feel free!)

These stories remind me of when I went into a shoe store wearing brand new brown suede shoes and the shoe salesman recommended I buy a "new pair of shoes" because mine were "old and worn". Nice. Wear your beautiful new strand in health!

I wear pearls daily. I don't feel "dressed" without, at the very least, pearl earrings. My usual is a pearl necklace and pearl earrings. If I'm not at work (as a Pre-K teacher), I add a pearl ring to each hand. I wouldn't worry about wearing out the hanadamas -- but you'll want variety if...
