Furrow Pearls - Would you buy these?

if you can return the pearls maybe you can give it a shot, usually they use stock photos only, like catlin said it will not be the one you receive. Depends on the size color and quality of those chinese kasumi-like bead nucleated pearls, the prices vary quite a bit.

65000$ for the golden strand with no clear information about it.. Caitlin, very overpriced is a bit of an understatement! @Romia it always depends what your are after; size of the pearls, color, luster, shape, grade and of course what kind of pearls, like South Sea or Akoya's etc.. There is...

Can these be called faceted pearls?

Hi Amrita, hmm those are more like the Baroque pillow-shaped FW pearls. Since they are bead nucleated as you say, you can call them fireballs if you wish, but faceted is in our understanding something else . Found a good post to that here...

    What pearls are these

Well they could be 'basra' pearls, the best would be to get them tested, if they are what you think, very well spend money! Persian Gulf pearls are typically referred as Basra pearls. I still would say freshwater keshi's though, especially since they are still temporarily strung and not made...
