I actually encountered a snake many years ago in the yard. I had no idea if it was poisonous or not. But let's just say that my neighbors heard me from their house. LOL.

We are about the same age. I will be 45 this October and have 2 kids: 17 and 15. My kids took piano lessons for years and recently stopped. They also play violin in the school orchestra. How old are your kids?

Yikes, I just read your post in "Get to know you..". I don't like snakes. It's one of the reason I feel safe hiking in Hawaii. If I ever visit Sydney and hike, will you be my guide and keep the snakes away?

Thank you for your lovely comments. It does take a while setting up the page. Every once in a while I try to tweak it again and again. My husband and I would like to visit Sydney some day and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef too.

Ajax, the Saluki on the photo was found on the street when he was 7 months old. He died reaching almost 12.
He and another small mixed terrier of mine traveled with me to Argentina for 2 years. Not an easy thing for those poor animals.

Yes. Tel Aviv where we live is still full of cats who are fed by good people. We feed regularly 2 street cats. In our neighborhood 2 friends of mine feed 50 !!! All sterilized by municipality for free. I cannot say that in the other parts of Israel is the same situation.
