Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Here's my haul from the recent Little H offering on PP:

Ruby studs - I love these tiny babies. They really go well with my sliced ruby necklace from @JerseyPearl

Seed Pearl Necklace - I didn't realize how tiny these pearls are but they sure are pretty.

Black diamond earring jacket with golden south sea and tahitian stuffed with Ruby - Now, I hate to say this but these are my favorite from my purchase (who would have known?). I called and had a mini-consult just to see them and then ordered. The black diamonds sparkle like crazy and they are so pretty (the sparkle is coming across as white spots that look like seed pearls. No seed pearls in this, that is the lovely sparkle of the black diamonds). I love that they are jackets and you can see the versality in that they can be worn alone or with any type of stud earring I have. TOTALLY LOVE these.

Blue Sapphire ring - this is very pretty, a little big in size but I do love the way it looks. Those little seed pearls add a sweet touch.

These are my first Little H's and pondering a few more things (mainly earrings). I feel they are a little piece of history since there won't be any more made and they are really gorgeous and such creativity and artistry went into making these gorgeous pieces.

Each piece is a work of art! Gorgeous picks.

Thanks so much, heartofawareness! I will try to take some pics later today. I‘m not sure you’ll get a lot of pics here as most of the people I know who have several little h pieces are not current posters on PG. Hope I’m wrong…

aww...too bad...maybe they'll surprise us... Can't wait to see what you have

That’s really sweet, BWeaves. My parents lived a long life, too. I can’t remember their anniversaries, but it was at least 65. I’ll have to ask other family members who are better about remembering occasions than me.

Thanks so much, CatMom! I rarely wear it that long because, well, it’s long. Usually I just wear one of the necklaces at a time.

Not too big on pearls since I wore a big puka shell necklace. Akoya tin cup necklace and freshwater earrings with shells I collected in Sanibel.

You inspired me jeg! I restrung some of my puka's and added some Tiger's eye beads and some natural white FW pearls. I'm happy with how it came out. Here I've layered it with a shell strand from Hawaii.

Wow Catmom you look great! Very summery look and feel...They look great with the pattern on your dress.

I love it, CatMom!!! The coloring of the Tiger’s Eye keeps it looking very Hawaiian, like wooden or seed beads, except nicer. You‘re finding all sorts of things to string! The Kukui nut leis are knotted just like pearls are knotted, except with ribbon. I reknotted a few of them so I could have different lengths.

Oh...they are so beautiful...love them...and you must be an earring lover (are you?) They're all so different and unique yet they follow the same theme. Thanks Jeg for indulging me!!

Some of these make me think of Pomegranates and Figs with all the seeds!

Wow, wow, wow! Tripling down on my last comment!

My two little h pieces. I bought the enhancer at my first RUCKUS, and the tin-cup at my second RUCKUS. I'm not sure Hisano really wanted to sell the tin-cup because it was displayed with an emerald Grotto pendant that was not an enhancer. She said she had to think about the price, so I think the Grotto pendant and tin-cup were meant to be sold together. My pendant looks great hanging off any strand of pearls, but I really love the pearl and emerald tin-cup with it.

I wear it with jeans and a T shirt more often than I do with a fancy dress. Why save it for good when I can enjoy it all the time?

Thanks jeg, that's what I was going for. Your Little H pieces are so amazing. I love all the earrings so much.

Thank you, heartofawareness! I never really considered myself an earring person, but I sure have a lot of them.:ROFLMAO: I went for a long period of time not wearing them at all and my piercings just about closed. Then mostly studs, then some dangles, then no dangles, now studs and dangles all the time.

Haha- I wouldn’t have thought of that, MOPTrumpet:D

Triple thanks, Jeremy! I was so happy to be able to add the earrings from the pop up to my collection!!!;)

Thanks so much, Catmom! I’m loving all your projects and remakes. Can’t wait to hear about what you find at the show this weekend. I really need to get to one, but mostly for findings and chains.

I’m glad you were able to get that chain to go with your pendant, BWeaves! It works so perfectly with your pendant.

Absolutely, wear pearls every day, no matter what clothing you're wearing. I'm wearing my 6mm Miki's on the 3mm Akoya 51" strand, my diamond earring jackets with 7mm Akoya studs, and of course, my @jeg inspired net pendant with a diamond studded South Sea 13mm to work with stretch capri pants and a simple white shirt. Pearls just make the whole outfit look better.

Beautiful chain with emeralds and pearls. That is a LOT of wire wrapping, but truly sets off the pendant/enhancer. Every time you show that I am in awe!

White linen and Victorian chokers today. Yellow gold Miki Huggies.

I originally had this choker made during my Princess Diana worshipping years. That lady could wear pearls! Anyway, I had it made as a high dog collar with two "clasps." The white gold and diamond clasp is a real clasp, and the cameo in a yellow gold frame is just a spacer. This way I could wear either clasp in front for a different look. I had long hair so the clasp in back wouldn't show.

Over the years, I've kept lengthening the necklace until I ran out of pearls. A couple years ago I sent the necklace to Pearl Paradise, and they did an amazing job of matching extra akoya pearls and lengthening the necklace so it sits at the base of my neck. I love it. I can also tell which pearls were from PP because they are better quality than my original pearls. But I can only tell if I scrutinize the necklace up close. From a normal distance everything matches perfectly.

I like that delicate rope of Akoya, MOPTrumpet, and of course, love the net! BWeaves, I think you landed on the perfect length for your triple strand. It’s so great that pearls are timeless and with just a little tweaking adjust to the times. (and our comfort)

A strand of Myanmar golden SS pearls. I bought these pearls several years ago on a temp strand from Druzy.

Had to share this EBay link with you...,definitely something from the "Princess Dianna" Era. Especially since it only measures 13"!!!!!

If this piece didn't have the "curve" in the big center diamond piece (clearly for a necklace) I'd consider buying it to make a stunning bracelet! Good thing it's curved, because I'd most likely never wear anything this fancy with my work clothing.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
