Who's maker marks? What type of pearls are they?

My mama passed and I found these in her things. I'm wondering how to tell who's jeweler marks and what type of pearls they are. Can someone please help me?

The clasp looks like a generic fish hook clasp, but it is marked 14K gold, which means in all likelihood the pearls are genuine cultured pearls, not imitation (fake).

It's really hard to judge the luster and other qualities of pearls against a dark background. A white background is much better. A paper towel works fine.

Could you take:
1. A photo of the entire strand
2. Close ups of a few of the pearls' blemishes

Please try to get the focus as sharp as you can. Natural or artificial light are okay but avoid flash.

Do you have any history at all about them? Any stories about how and when she came to own them?
