I am new to pearls. My wife really wants a strand of black round pearls. I cannot afford Tahitian pearls so I am looking for the best freshwater alternatives. There are so many pearl websites. Can someone please direct me to a site that sells quality black fresh water pearl strands? I am hoping to find something that looks similar to Tahitian pearls. Thank you so much for your help!

Understand that Tahitians have a particular look that will not be exactly duplicated by dyed Akoya pearls or dyed Freshwater pearls. If she finds that she truly prefers Tahitians she may consider baroques instead-- they often have spectacular colors.
