While those pearls are very pretty, they are not worth much money.
They are cultured, dyed freshwater pearls from China. There is about $2.00 worth of pearls there at wholesale American prices, but it has more value than that when finished into jewelry and sold at retail. It could go for up to $100.00 depending on where it was bought- a high end dept store might charge $150.00 retail, but it is worth about $30 at resale. If it is a brand name like Honora, it might re-sell for $40.00.
My advice: Wear it or give it a a gift to someone else. It really is a pretty color and has nice luster.
