A bijoux dish for one peanut?

I've been looking at this fella since march. Suggestions very welcome

38mm by 20 and not drilled. The scoop will hold just one peanut

Ok, here I go.

Orient it so the rounded end is down. Drill through the top and hang a small diamond briolette so the pearl frames it, like a small reliquary or statue niche.

Yes, that's a great idea, Lady_D! Make certain the briolette has a little movement to really sparkle!

I think he looks like a whale. A little gemstone eye in the divot on the big ball part and another on the other side. Not sure how that translates to jewelry, though. What does the other side look like?

I think it looks like a seal on it's back getting ready to crack open a clamshell.

Don't laugh…but on the side like that it reminds me of "Nemo" from the movie Finding Nemo (that isn't a bad thing by the way)

I was thinking a clown fish. I wonder if you could do strips of yellow gold with bead set citrines or yellow sapphires, with a bezel set diamond eye?

In person the pearl isn't whale like at all. perhaps an alien with a big head,long arms and quite big feet. I'm sort of thinking ring at the moment...but yes, sauce boat also possible
