Do we have any certified parties here that could determine by a picture alone if pearls are authentic akoya? Or even could have a sample sent to them?
I have cross-posted this from the other thread:
The mere fact they are mismatched and include dyed ones suggest pearl party source.
Pearl party price ... 13 x 30 = 390 dollars. In reality, the entire lot is worth under 10 dollars.
More like 36 x 15-23 = WAY too much... Have since been blocked by the owner of the company after messaging in regards to their advertisement stating authentic akoya pearls. Yea that wont happen again lol
Some party hosts play ignorant (which does not exempt them from the law) but you have a case for fraud, especially since the person who sold them lied, then deliberately blocked you.
It's difficult to litigate over 500 dollars, but considering thousands of consumers being bilked, the top of the pyramid is making a fortune from this sham.
The best thing to do under the circumstance is post your experiences for all to see. Some may come to their senses by shame, but sooner or later the law will step in and pressure the ring leaders to force disclosure and safe handling procedures.
She replied to me early this morning after the initial message telling me she's taken to me many jewelers and they are absolute genuine akoya pearls. Then she sent another message telling me to send her the name and number of the certified jeweler i took them to.
This one in particular is Pearl Chic which is rather new. The filed their LLC late 2016.

I couldnt go back to the original one i went to this weekend so I went to 3 different ones today (including a national chain jeweler) and all said the same. They were freshwater cultured and likely dyed for the colored ones. I gathered the names and numbers for all i visited today and when i went to send the info to her I get an error that she's no longer accepting messages.
This is actually pretty funny. Apparently several people have been complaining about Pearl Chic on their Facebook page and the owner just assumes I am creating fake names or profiles to harass them. I did post today telling them the pearls on their Facebook page are freshwater and not akoya. This email just came in from Teresa Vitantonio. You may get a kick out of it, lol
The person lying and deceiving all these people on Facebook is now threatening me, LOL!

to me
Hi Jeremy,
I am the owner of Pearl Chic. One of my consultants notified me that you reached out and sent an email from this email. You also went on my company's page and spoke falsely about my company's product. Someone of your nature should be very familiar with harassment, Libel, and Slander. Our pearls are 100% Akoya and have been taken and appraised by many different jewelers. Even though you got you're certificate online, I would still assume you had enough intelligence to know that you are putting your credibility on the line making statements that are false. You are not dealing with a mom and pop shop that you can scare. I am extremely wealthy as well and my family owns a law firm, so I am actually very familiar with the law. You are on on a social media portal breaking the law by harassing my contractors and posting false accusations on the internet about my company. Not to mention making up false profiles to do it as well. I'd also assume someone of your nature would have better things to do with their time, but apparently not. I'm assuming your similar pearl business must be hurting, since you have all this free time on your hands to harass women. If the FTC wants to contact me, they are free to speak with my lawyer. As for you, if I come across one more account of libel or harassment from you under all your falsified names, you will be hearing from my layers.
Thank You.

You know they're liars when they say "so I'm actually very familiar". If it were true, why would they say... actually? If they knew the law and had lawyers, they'd say something to the effect... I have retained my family lawyer and you will direct all correspondence to them them directly. Any lawyer learns in the first year of law school to NEVER allow their clients to make ambiguous proxy statements on their behalf.
Likewise, in the absence of evidence, accusatorily leveled some serious charges towards you, which a lawyer would never advise a client to do.
Anything from a lawyers office MUST be notarized and true copies of that attestation are distributed to all parties accordingly. I spent ten years in the US Ninth Circuit as a representative in a class action law suit over an oil spill. More than half of the mountain of paperwork (an entire file room) were attestations, certifying courses of action.
Some pearl party consultants are ignoramuses but quite frankly, the owner of Pearl Chic is a bold faced liar who openly directs her consultants to lie as well.
