What kind of pearls do I have?

My father was given these pearls in exchange for work he did on a car approx 30 years ago. He has since passed away and I was wondering what type of pearls they are and if they are of any worth to my elderly mother. They range in length from 10mm to 16 mm. The 3 smaller ones are flawless but the larger ones have markings that the photos may show.

They do look like South Sea Pearls to me. Lovely. Are the 10 mm pearls round and do they match. That will influence their value. Hopefully a South Sea pearl expert will come in with an approximate value for you.

Was your father given any information regarding them, anything at all?

Most of us try to get bargains :) so it is hard for us to give you a true value. One of the bigger sellers would know what they are worth and what you can get for them.

Good luck anyway and welcome.

Thanks so much Dawn. They are very similar in size. Wish i did ask dad more but all I can recall is that it was payment for work he did on a car.
Thank you again,
Kieran
