What kind of pearls are these? Are they worth anything?

I was recently given a strand of pearls. They are 8 1/2 mm & there are 263 pearls on the necklace. Im just wondering are they natural & what is their value?

It looks like a strand of ringed, cultured freshwater pearls. The pearls wouldn't be natural and don't have a lot of value. They are more or a fashion-type piece.

Even though they don't have much commercial value, long strands like that can be fun to wear. You can double them, knot them, etc.
