Hello, by the photos the luster looks like south sea.. besides, in Philippines it's easier to buy a south sea pearl than any other type of pearls)) if the pearl is real (not imitation) - I wouldn't doubt it's a south sea pearl)
There are a lot of ssp's in PH, but it's rare to find a pretty good one. Usually there are quite a number of "fish bites" (which annoys me), or the surface is obviously uneven (again, annoying!), some vendors will say they're round (nope, just semi-round), and what kills me the most is are the setting options: there's silver, Singapore 14k gold and PH 14k gold (which really is 12k).
Ok, maybe I'm being OCD.
And maybe that's why I joined pretty late in the pearl party.
