I found this in my jewelry box the other day. I have no idea where it came from (most likely from a relative's jewelry box).
As you can probably see, it has a ball on the end of what would be the pin on a brooch, so it doesn't seem to be a brooch. Perhaps some kind of necklace extender? It's less than 2 cm (3/4 inch) long, so I'm mystified by its purpose.
The pearls pass the tooth test. I assume they're tiny Akoyas.
