What do you think of these Pearls from Amazon.com?

How can you tell if they are real? It seems like the right price and the quality looks good, but how can I know if they are real pearls or just fake plastic coated pearls?

The appearance, size and shape of the pearls would indicate that they are black akoyas. They are dyed, as akoyas do not come in that color naturally. I can't speak for the price; will leave that up to more knowledgeable members...

Yes, that is what I think. The seller has hundreds of positive feedback on Amazon, only a few negative that appear to be due to errors in the shipping, but I understand that kind of thing will happen from time to time.

I guess I'm just worried about buying anything I don't know much about online.

Is there any good methods to check authenticity after they arrive?

Agree with Caitlin, PP price is better, and they most likely can provide bracelet and earrings, too. You will have excellent quality and spend less.

The ones at Amazon come with earings but still you should be able to get those together with the necklace for a lot less. AugustinaJewelry is protected through the Amazon return policy so you would be good if you purchase through them.
