Was wondering what kind of pearls I have and how much they might be worth?

Hi everyone, I bought some pearl necklaces for my 2 daughters. I was wondering what kind of pearls they are and a range of what they might be worth. Any help would be great!

Chinese cultured freshwater pearls. Not sure what mm, but a good guess would be $20 -40. - on eBay straight from China.

It may be the lighting, but the very even sheen on them even makes me wonder if these could be faux......?

Amrita, I think they would be more perfectly round if they were fake. There is an obvious potato shape at the bottom of the last picture.

Hmmm, you may be right Karin. However, sometimes the shapes do change in the pictures, especially at the edges. Could be freshwater..

Chinese freshwaters-- look at the 3rd strand from the bottom on the right-- lots of variation in size and shape in that strand. What size are they-- about 6.5mm? Under $50 is my guess.
