I’ve been shopping on eBay, and I wanted to show you a couple of my recent purchases. One item has arrived, and one is on the way.
I love these “trefoil” earrings. They’re clip earrings, signed Cultra [sic], and probably date from the late 1950s. They’re so round that I figure they’re akoyas. The clips are 14K gold filled.
The 2nd item is on the way. It’s a vintage pearl shortener. Just how vintage I’m not sure, so I’ll look forward to seeing it in person. I’d guess that it can only go back as far as the 1980s, and is likely older due to the construction. The pearls are a little mysterious to me. They look like freshwater pearls, but the pin is older than that. (Of course it’s so easy to switch out gems with some pieces!) It’s clearly had a lot of use. I didn’t spend much, so if it’s truly interesting it’ll be a nice surprise.
I’m a bargain hunter, so I spent very little on these.
Thanks for reading, and I’ll update regarding the shortener if y’all would like.
Have a great evening!
