Greetings from Hong Kong,
I am hoping that some of you avid internet pearl hawks will help me out...
I am trying to estimate the current market value for these vintage clasps.
They are all stamped 14K and are all set with original Japanese Akoya pearls (by that i mean, I did not set the pearls myself, they were found like this). The pearls range from 1-6mm.
The white gold clasp is about an inch and a half long and weighs 12 grams without the pearls (there are a bunch of clasps like these without the pearls so I am able to get appx. gold weights.
I am dizzy (and a bit disgusted) by trying in vain to find similar clasps on EBay.
Does anyone have any sources that would help me compare and contrast to come up with both fair and realistic prices for these. There are many more clasps than in the photo.. But this is a good sampling.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Hope you are all enjoying a fine weekend.. Cheers, Sarah

Lilliefuzzysocks YOU ARE AMAZING!
Thank you, that is a huge help! The difference between the "buy now" and undisclosed bids and actual selling price was what was driving me nuts!
You're hired!

The completed items are for the last 15 days, I believe. They used to let you see the last 60 days, but no more. There were many Mikimoto clasps but figured you wouldn't want them added into the mix. By the way, there are some similar clasps to yours with necklaces attached for sale on ebay.

Pretty clasps with pearls!

However, I generally avoid pearls in clasps as I am concerned about potential issues with colour matching with the strand(s).

DK :)

Thank you ladies...
Lilliefuzzysocks, thank you... I was trying to steer clear of evaluating the clasps based on listings that included strands of varying qualities of pearls strung on them.
I really appreciate the suggestions you came up with.
Pattye, yes i thought some of these would be great finishes to pearls of contrasting colors! I generally prefer necklaces with character over perfectly matched ones... But that's just my style.
Cheers, Sarah
