Came across this rundown of most interesting pearl pieces shown at this year's "Pearls & Fashion" seminar at Tucson (wish I had been there, hope everyone had a great time, btw!!) and JCK writer Jennifer Heebner chose some interesting pieces to focus on that caught my eye... Some are gorgeous, and others a bit weird, but all are beautifully made with excellent attention to detail and display unique, artistic flair. For those of you (like me) that didn't get to attend this year- Enjoy! ;)

Kala.jpg Saw these recently on Amazon. A good use for those organic looking pav? beads! :p
HectorHassey.jpg Not my favorite style, at all, but it certainly stands out! by Hector Hassey
JordanAlexander.jpg Interesting, I like the claw prongs and modern diamond halo. My only thought is why wouldn't you just use a mabe...? But then you probably wouldn't get the same texture.... Pearl bracelet by Jordan Alexander at Fragments
Little H.jpg The Baroque Silhouettes by Little h by Hisano Takei Shepherd- I think I like their Tahitian and black diamond version better, but always cool!
mattia_cielo.jpg I love this, would take it home, wear it every chance I got and guard it jealously! By Mattia Cielo, definitely a true artist!
VincentPeach.jpg an interesting take on Tahitian pearls on leather... not sure who would spend thousands on a leather jewelry item, but it's interesting! By Vincent Peach Designs
Emiko.jpg who doesn't love Emiko's charming animal brooches and figurines- every time I see these, I die a little from a cuteness attack! ;)

Did anybody else see anything worth posting? Show us your pics! :)

I really like those Tahitians on leather - I don't think I'd buy it, because of longevity issues with leather, but I think it looks very lovely.

Thanks for sharing! I adore those little h earrings <3 <3 <3 That brooch is also totally fantastic!
