Hello,

This is my first post, showing a trisidos semitorla pearl, this is my second pearl in collection, for now I own 3 pearls.
I want to make a pearl plus shell collection, so I will have to find a trisidos semitorla specimen to match my pearl.
The color is about right on the picture, some bluish hue and a very bit translucent, there is a flame, but hard to see, it's more translucent than my cassis or spondylus pearls.
The size is about 7,5mm and quite round shape.

I've not seen a pearl like that before. Thank you for showing it to us! Please post pictures of your other two pearls so we can ogle those too! :)

You have a great collection. Check the website "Conchology" https://www.conchology.be/ for your missing shell. Watch out -- you may end up buying more shells that you intended! :)

GemGeek - In particular this link to the more "common" name for the mollusk mentioned: https://www.conchology.be/?t=33&family=ARCIDAE or this one that takes you to a specific page for the species mentioned by the original poster https://www.conchology.be/?t=27&family=ARCIDAE&species=Trisidos semitorta
